Welding Shop

 

Our welders are certified by the American Welding Society per AWS D17.1 Specification for Fusion Welding Aerospace Applications. Welders are re-qualified every 2 years.

 

Welders are qualified in the following base metals:

 

• G.T.A.W. 600 Inconel 0.040 TO 0.240
• G.T.A.W. 4911H Titanium 0.040 TO 0.240
• G.T.A.W. AMS 410 Stainless Steel 0.040 T0 0.240
• G.T.A.W. 6061-T6 Aluminum 0.040 TO 0.240
• G.T.A.W. A-286 Stainless Steel .060 TO .060

 

The Machine Shop is equipped with:

 

• Heliarch welding equipment
• Oxygen and Acetylene welding equipment
• Stress Relief Oven of High Capacity

 

We have Numerous fixtures required to constrain the parts during the Stress Relief Process.
